McCain, who has said he would accept public funding, will get $84.1 million this fall
-
Obama says he will finance his campaign using private contributions
Wow --- Who do you want as your president? The guy who wants to raise his own money or the one who wants to take $84.1 million from an already hurting government budget and national economy? $84.1 million would buy a lot of medicine, school books, and food for needy people.

| I saw a bunch of pictures from Iraq a buddy of mine had. It reminded me how much I hate war and wish that people did not feel the need to fight one another.
I keep seeing headlines about our economy going into recession and can't help wonder if we don't need something like this to recover from bad policy making and corporate greed. Did big businesses really need to lend so much money to people who weren't able to pay it back?
I've been trying to search inside myself to try to find whats missing in my life or what from my past and present I need to come to terms with. It seems much more difficult to try doing this while wading through the personal vices of daily life.
I'm finally at a point in my life where I feel things are going just right for me. It appears hard work does pay off in the end...
